Flix Facilities has taken new office space in Manchester, in addition to their existing office space in Deansgate. The new offices are at The Greenhouse, which is part of MediaCityUK. The main headquarters of Flix Facilities in Deansgate also house Title Role and Nine Lives, which are producers of factual TV.

The work of Flix Facilities is centred on post-production, specialising in audio dubbing, CGI, video editing and completing the design for commercials, drama and animation. The business was founded by Leo Casserly, the managing director, together with Nigel Senior in 1992. Casserly began his career as a sound and picture editor, working on well-known programmes Cold Feet, Postman Pat, A Touch of Frost and Dangermouse, among others. Casserly said:

“We have excellent working relationships with the BBC and ITV, as well as with a wide variety of independents, so opening offices at MediaCityUK made natural sense. We look forward to integrating ourselves into The Greenhouse and working with the businesses located at MediaCityUK.”

According to the managing director of MediaCityUK, Stephen Wild Flix Facilities have already established solid relationships with the businesses at MediaCityUK. Wild also states that he looks forward to Flix Facilities benefiting from the community at MediaCityUK and The Greenhouse, in addition to the surrounding environment.

As Flix Facilities expand, sourcing the most suitable location for new premises is critical to the business success. Office space in the Manchester area is at a premium, as the area benefits from redevelopment and expansion.
