A number of high-profile companies have announced that they are setting up Manchester offices.

Office space in Manchester is in high demand because companies find Manchester an ideal location in which to do business. Large companies with Manchester offices include Autotrader, Sky, Deloitte, and NCC.

Joining these companies is Hewlett Packard Enterprises, which announced at the end of 2018 that they are planning to occupy 20,000 sq. feet of office space at Manchester’s new Circle Square by 2020. Marc Waters of Hewlett Packard said:

“The intent of the Circle Square development is to build a collaborative community of leaders in technology, business, arts and science, which is compelling. Hewlett Packard Enterprise is excited to be a part of such a progressive project that is well aligned to our core values.”

Key Travel is expanding by merging with Raptim Humanitarian Travel and is planning to occupy the entire 20,000 sq. foot ninth floor of the newly renovated St James Building in Oxford Road. Key Travel has 500 employees based in 10 countries and has a turnover of over £350m.

John O’Sullivan of Key Travel said:

“Although we continue to grow our company globally, our Manchester office has always been and will continue to be the heart of our operations.”

To meet the demand for office space in Manchester, many new developments are being planned. These include the city’s largest office development near Manchester Airport, which will be the site of the new Hut Group headquarters.
